COUPLES COUNSELING
A Happier, Healthier Partnership
Every couple experiences highs and lows in their relationship, and sometimes we need some extra assistance getting through those lows. In couples therapy, we’ll work to solve current problems, enhance communication, and improve positive thinking and behaviors. I will help you re-frame your reactions and provide you with valuable tools to help you cope with your relationship obstacles.
FAMILY THERAPY
Creating Household Harmony
Dysfunctional or improper family dynamics often create stress and frustration for everyone involved. In family therapy, we will look at the family as a whole and attempt to identify the family patterns that are causing distress and work to create healthier forms of communication, improve accountability when needed, and provide problem-solving techniques and skills.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Still trying to decide if therapy is right for you?
Let me help.
I’m committed to giving my clients the best care and experience that I can. Part of that care is making sure you are comfortable and informed. There’s no such thing as a bad question when it comes to your mental health. So check out the questions and answers below, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any additional questions, comments, or concerns.
WHAT IS THERAPY LIKE AND WHY SHOULD I COME?
It isn't uncommon to feel some anxiety or uncertainty at the start of therapy, especially before the first appointment. Rest assured, you're not alone if you feel this way. And while every client's experience in therapy is different, typically our time will be spent discussing issues that may have arisen since your last visit, working on areas in your past or present, and working on goals for your future to get you to where you want to be.
HOW LONG DOES EACH THERAPY SESSION LAST AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD I ATTEND SESSIONS?
Typically most therapy sessions will last approximately 50-minutes, beginning at the start of the hour and ending ten-minutes before the following hour. As for how often you should attend therapy, that depends on each individual, as every client has their own needs. In the beginning, it's especially important to try and attend therapy sessions as regularly as possible, usually weekly, in order to get the most out of the therapeutic relationship.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE OR SLIDING FEE SCALE RATES?
Yes! We offer a sliding fee scale ranging from $75 - $185 per session. We also accept the following insurance plans which may cover all or most of your session costs: Blue Care Network, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Cross Complete, Cigna/Evernorth, Meridian, and Priority Health. If you need help verifying your benefits, please do not hesitate to reach out! We would be happy to assist.
WILL MY THERAPY SESSIONS BE CONFIDENTIAL?
When it comes to the therapeutic relationship, trust is one of the most important aspects, and part of that trust is maintaining your privacy and confidentiality. Part of my duty as a therapist is adhering to confidentiality and privacy guidelines set by state guidelines and ethical standards, with some limited exceptions in cases of abuse, neglect, or in cases of harm to you, by you, or toward someone else.
